TC4, TC6 and TC11 are the most widely used titanium alloys in industry. They feature low density, high specific strength, high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance to meet diverse working conditions. All three have a density of 4.51g/cm³, with their main performance differences lying in strength and temperature resistance.
TC4 works under temperatures ranging from -100℃ to 550℃. It has room-temperature tensile strength ≥895MPa, excellent toughness, corrosion resistance and weldability with comprehensive machinability. Its annealed strength is around 900MPa and can reach up to 1100MPa after solution strengthening, making it the most versatile titanium alloy.
TC6 is suitable for temperatures ≤300℃. Its room-temperature tensile strength ≥980MPa. It boasts outstanding high-temperature stability and stable microstructure and properties under long-term service, ideal for aerospace structural components below 300℃.
TC11 delivers the best overall performance. Its room-temperature tensile strength exceeds 1030MPa and it can withstand 500℃. It shows average wear resistance at ambient temperature but excellent wear resistance at 600℃. Among the three grades, it has the best combination of strength and high-temperature properties.
Our company supplies titanium alloy raw materials, machined parts and castings of all grades. We provide reliable quality and custom services. Long-term cooperation is welcome.
